WhyBeStatic.com was established by a static caravan enthusiast with over 10 years personal experience in owning and vacationing at various parks over the years. Also the proud owner of www.ukcaravans4hire.com, the largest collection of private static caravans available to hire in the UK.

WhyBeStatic.com was created to cater for the substantial gap in the market where we thought static caravan owners and other types of holiday home owners were not getting the full use of their caravans.

You may only be able to use your holiday home for weekend breaks due to work commitments or you may be fortunate enough to stay in your holiday home for the majority of the year but one thing that is true for both scenarios is that you will not be staying in it all of the time. The other thing that is true for both scenarios is that unless you are prepared to put up with the hassle and expense of moving site each year then you will be going to the same site each and every time for many years.

We realise how good it can be to build up long term friendships with your neighbours on a site but we also realise that for maybe only a few times in a year it's nice to go somewhere different, see new people and do different things - even if it's just for a weekend!
